Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to optimize production efficiency

• Manage and coordinate the activities of production personnel, including hiring, training, and performance management

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards

• Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to meet customer demand

• Collaborate with other departments, such as production control, logistics, stockroom, engineering and procurement, to ensure smooth production operations

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

• Maintain accurate production records and reports

Qualifications/ Experience Needed:

• Typically requires University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience oran Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience orin absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in the aerospace or aviation industry OR experience as a team leader.

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including assembly and testing.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Experience with manufacturing principles.
