OnsiteWe are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Manager to oversee our production operations at our Salt Lake City Utah facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, quality control, and team management. As a Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely production of our flight simulation products, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to optimize production efficiency
Manage and coordinate the activities of production personnel, including hiring, training, and performance management
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards
Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to meet customer demand
Collaborate with other departments, such as production control, logistics, stockroom, engineering and procurement, to ensure smooth production operations
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
Maintain accurate production records and reports
Qualifications/ Experience Needed:
Typically requires University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience oran Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience orin absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in the aerospace or aviation industry OR experience as a team leader.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including assembly and testing.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Experience with manufacturing principles.
