Colder's is looking for a talented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team! You will be responsible for supporting the Accounting department to help them stay organized and complete tasks that allow them to focus on more advanced responsibilities.

You are detail-oriented and take pride in being highly organized. With a knack for numbers and organization, you play a key role in helping our team stay efficient so we can serve our customers! 

Responsibilities: 

• Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, apply credits, adjust payment terms, and ensure timely payments
• Reconcile vendor statements, research, and resolve discrepancies
• Verify and accurately enter data into accounting system to ensure the proper supporting documentation, coding approval, and amount is correct
• Prepare batch check runs, ACH transactions, and wire transfers
• Respond to emails
• Maintain and foster vendor relationships
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma required, additional accounting or bookkeeping education preferred
• Basic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Meticulous attention to detail, solid organization, and time management capabilities
• Work independently and collaborate well with others
• Professional Work ethic and positive attitude
• General computer proficiency
