Resource Manager

  • Design and guide with an integrated workforce planning journey mindset; embracing People Priorities end-to-end vision and integration opportunities with up/down stream processes (Boundaryless Opportunity / Shared Success / One CohnReznick)
  • Evolve toward collaborative, integrated, merged Processes, Tools and Metrics reflecting a single discipline, single COE – Resource Management Team
  • Weigh ideas, solutions, and approaches based on business value potential
  • Continuously shaping the future of workforce planning to remain current and relevant as the business changes

Key Responsibilities:

  • The role has a key responsibility to refine the framework and principles of workforce planning with intent to drive integration of processes and technology. Success in this role requires the ability to imagine new and improved way of working, evolve those ideas in a collaborative team environment to an executable framework with defined principles supporting business needs and educate the team on the business value of the process. Workforce Planning processes include - Forecasting, Chargeability Targeting, Chargeability Outlook, Capacity Balancing, Talent Intents, Annual Planning
  • Be able to create executive level communications that engages the attention of the intended audience. The person in this role will be expected to facilitate education sessions with various stakeholder groups on the ‘why’ and value of the processes in relationship to the business need; guide stakeholders on how to make connections between data and decision advise
  • The position requires the ability to initiate collaboration across various P&C teams responsible areas to facilitate process connection points for the purpose of creating improved integrated ways of working to deliver on workforce planning business purposes

This person in this role needs to:

  • Engage across multiple stakeholder groups and management levels to evolve and maintain integration of our processes and drive changes in technology when necessary, to support organization/process/data integration as well as deliver positive user experience.
  • Have a solid foundation understanding on the value of workforce planning and supply/demand management in driving business outcomes and a propensity to ask “Why?” and “How might we?”
  • Drive advocacy and education in WFM around the value of end-to-end integrated workforce planning, new and future on-going processes, and enabled offerings
  • Problem solving with a solution driven mindset

Other Requirements:

  • A flexible attitude to working hours is necessary as the role is required to work effectively across multiple time zones
  • As this role is 90% virtual, the individual must be comfortable working remotely (i.e., via conference calls, MST Video etc.) and traveling 10% when needed
  • Ability to create, deliver and present materials at a C-Suite level and provide input into executive communications and presentations. Executive presence and acumen are essential
  • Experience of creating successful and productive high level working relationships as a means of driving strategy, process design, development, and implementation
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the internal and external business environment. Knowing the business, is essential to be successful in this role
  • Leadership experience in a planning environment, conflict negotiation, value proposition to manage change and agreement to support our People Priorities
  • Aptitude toward or experience with creating change management principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Executive presence and the ability to influence outcomes to support our “One Firm” mission and “People Priorities”

Basic Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or higher

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of resource or workforce management experience within a Professional Services organization
  • Minimum of 10 years of management experience with developing and coaching teams, defining career paths based on career goals, performance management, employee relations and people management
  • Management experience in developing business processes and HRIS technology implementation
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with financial forecasting, analytics, and workforce planning transformation
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with a global, multi-cultural, virtual work environment preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of proficiency with Microsoft Office application, exceptional excel skills, and data analytics and telling a story to executive leaders is essential in this role

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Sound organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
  • Ability to build, sustain and influence relationships, and develop networks as appropriate to influence decisions from People & Culture perspective
