The Goddard School of Stamford is a brand new preschool that opened in May 2023 and is seeking fun, experienced and qualified resource teachers to assist in all of our classrooms (Infant-Pre-K). We are specifically looking for teachers who are dependable, highly motivated and meet Connecticut's Early Childhood Teacher requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, nurturing and multi-cultural learning environment
• Design and implement age appropriate play based lesson plans using Creative Curriculum
• Effectively use positive discipline to manage the classroom
• Plan and implement activities to foster children’s self esteem and social skills and
• Prepare a daily activity report for each child
• Attend faculty meetings, in-service days, conferences and professional growth opportunities
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

QUALIFICATIONS

• A High School Diploma is required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree or higher in ECE, Elementary Education or Child Development preferred
• A minimum of 1 year of prior experience in a licensed childcare, daycare or preschool is required

SCHEDULE

• The Goddard School of Stamford is open year-round
• Monday-Friday 11am to 6pm or 11am to 3pm
