Position Summary:

We’re looking for a passionate Quality Engineer with strong communication skills, knowledge, and experience in banking and financial services to perform quality engineering activities and focus on the delivery of valuable outcomes and ensures alignment to client and customer needs.

Mandatory Skills:

• Experience working as a QA-BA in the financial services industry with a focus on high value payment systems and Swift Messaging Standards.
• In depth knowledge of Swift Messaging standards(MT messages) and protocols used in high-value payment transactions (e.g. SWIFT FIN, SWIFT GPI).
• Familiarity with payment processing systems, payment clearing and settlement processes and regulatory requirements governing high value payments.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes, and translate them into actionable requirements.
• Experience working in Agile development environment and familiarity with Agile Methodologies and tools.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Expertise in design and implementation of test plans, test cases, test scripts ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including business users, product managers and technical teams to gather and document requirements for high value payment systems with a focus on Swift messaging standards.
• Analyse business processes and systems to identify areas of improvement and optimization in the handling of high value payment transactions.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct impact analysis and risk assessments for proposed changes to high value payment systems, considering factors such as system integrations, data dependencies and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with external partners to ensure seamless integration and interoperability of high value payment systems.
• Support testing activities by reviewing test plans, test cases, and test results and participating in UAT to validate system functionality and performance.
• Provide training and support end users on new features, functionalities and processes related to high value payment systems.
• Monitor system performance and transactional data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization in high value payment processing.

Salary Range: $85,000-$95,000
