We are looking for a senior developer for the RTS (real-time systems) team. The RTS team forms the heart of our programmatic bidding platform. Our systems process 10’s of trillions of auction bid requests every year and evaluates them using our AI models running in the hot path. The platform requires incredible throughput and tight latency to meet our customer’s needs.

Our RTS systems are written in modern C and are seeking an engineer who is passionate about writing high performance services.

This position will be in our Bellevue, WA office with a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in office (Mon/Tue/Wed) and 2 days remote (Thursday/Friday).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, optimize, and maintain our core platform in the form of robust libraries and software development tools.
• Document design of complex software systems and conduct thorough and constructively critical software reviews.
• Work across engineering and product teams to scope projects tightly to core business requirements.
• Own the entire service management lifecycle for the systems you work on.

• Proficient in and enjoy working with modern C . Candidates with strong experience in other unmanaged languages such as C or Rust and a desire to learn C will also be considered.
• An independent self-starter who looks at the big picture and takes ownership and independently seeks out new challenges with creative solutions.
• A constructive, supportive team player, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• At home in a Linux development environment.
• Experience building services running in a cloud environment.

• 5 years of experience in software engineering within real time solutions
• Interested in / Familiar with Machine Learning, especially deep learning
• Experienced with high volume, low latency, real time back-end services

• $160,000-$210,000 Base Salary Equity
