Job Summary: 

CMT Services are seeking reliable and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Part-Time Laborer at our Animal Control Kennel. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas within the kennel facility, including cages, kennels, and other animal-used spaces. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and comfortable working in an environment with animals. 

Duties: 

• Perform custodial duties such as emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, cleaning windows, and power washing walls, floors, cages, kennels, and other animal-used areas.
• Clean and maintain equipment used for cleaning purposes.
• Assist in the movement of materials as needed.
• Communicate effectively in English with team members and supervisors.
• Maintain a polite and courteous demeanor when interacting with colleagues, visitors, and animals.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations at all times.
• Handle animal waste and perform clean-up of bio-hazardous materials with appropriate training and precautions.
• Occasionally climb ladders or stepstools to access certain areas and cages for cleaning purposes.

Required Qualifications: 

• Prior experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Comfortable working around animals and able to handle animal waste.
• No allergies to animals or fear of animals.
• Willingness to undergo training related to bio-hazardous waste clean-up.

Experience: 

• Must have 1-3 years of construction or concrete work experience. 

Education: 

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Conditions of Employment:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America.
• Successfully complete pre-employment background check.
• Perform cleaning services for extended shifts and possible weekends.

Work Hours: 

• Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 8:00 a.m.
• Tuesday and Thursday at 11:30 a.m.
