Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our ICU team. As an ICU Nurse, you will provide specialized care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Pay Package:
- 3 Nights / week, 12 hour shifts
- 7pm to 7:30am
-Local Weekly Rate-$ 1459, Local Hourly Rate-$40.53
-Travel Weekly Rate-$2023, Travel Hourly Rate-$56.19
Duties:
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and changes in medical status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Perform advanced nursing procedures such as coding, suture care, ostomy care, catheterization, and phlebotomy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in medical records
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe patient care environment
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of MI
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or critical care setting
- Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of advanced nursing procedures
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Basic computer skills for documentation purposes
