Oakland Nursing Center, a 26-bed skilled nursing facility, is conveniently located on the 3rd floor of Surgeons Choice Medical Center. Our highly skilled physicians, nurses, techs, therapists and ancillary support staff all work together to help our patients regain their health, mobility, and the skills necessary to return to their prior level of independence.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The RN is responsible for the provision of nursing care to patients and to direct licensed and non-licensed staff in the same. Assesses, plans care, provides treatment regimes, evaluates care, and collaborates with the physicians and interdisciplinary care delivery team to provide comprehensive nursing care. Serves as a resource person to licensed and non-licensed staff, assuming leadership roles and responsibilities, as assigned.

Education/Experience

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing required.
• 3 years of experience as a RN strongly preferred.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care setting required.

Licensure/Certification

• Current unrestricted RN license from the State of Michigan required.
• Current BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers, from the American Heart Association required.
