Job Description:

We are urgently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in telemetry for a 13-week contract assignment in Southfield, MI. This role requires flexibility and adaptability, as it involves floating to various units with staffing adjustments every 4 hours.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit, including continuous monitoring of cardiac rhythms.
• Perform accurate assessments and implement nursing interventions based on patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain comprehensive records.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care.
• Float to different units as needed and adjust to new assignments every 4 hours.
• Ensure competency in basic dysrhythmia interpretation and management.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in telemetry or related specialty areas.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Competency in basic dysrhythmia testing required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and patient needs.
