Critical Care Registered Nurse
Location – Southfield, MI
Shift – 36hour - Day
Duration - 3 Month (Possible Extension)
Hourly - 46/hr
Summary
- Department: Float Staffing
- Shift Timings: 07:00 - 19:30 Monday to friday. (3 Days/12 Hours)
- Per Week: 36 Hours
- This is a float assignment with daily staffing adjustments every 4 hrs, with potential to be pulled to a new assignment in 4hr blocks of time. Will need basic dysrhythmia testing competency.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Providing nursing care to acutely or critically ill patients with an assigned unit or clinic;
- Implementing medical care plans;
- Directing and supervising the patient care provided by nursing personnel assigned to the unit;
- Maintaining standard unit activities in the absence of the Head Nurse; and
- Performing other related duties as assigned/required.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years experience required in specialty area. Float B agency RN's may take an assignment in SICU, MICU, NTICU,
- BLS, ACLS required. TNCC, CRRT, NIH, balloon pump preferred.
