Cloeren Incorporated is Hiring a Remote Sales Manager - Remote

Come work for the best! Cloeren Incorporated is looking for an energetic sales champion to join our collaborative team. Established in 1980, Cloeren is the global leader in developing extrusion feedblocks and dies for plastics processing. The Cloeren name has become synonymous with industry leading innovation and performance thanks to our superior technology, quality, value, efficiency, and organization. Applicants should be enthusiastic about travel! This position is considered a remote position for our North American Territory, but global travel will be requested on occasion.
 Primary Duties & Responsibilities 
  1. Contact customers regularly to build customer awareness of Cloeren products, services, and solutions for use in customer’s extrusion applications and systems. 
  2. Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring Cloeren’s high standard of customer satisfaction.
  3. Travel routinely, 30 – 40% of working days per month, visiting customers, and attending events to promote and sell Cloeren products.
  4. Write brief, informative visit reports which summarize customer interactions.
  5. Maintain a potential project pipeline using our CRM, Salesforce.
  6. Assist in selling related aftermarket products and equipment refurbishments.
  7. Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 
At a minimum, the Sales Manager must have a bachelor's degree in business or related field of study, or 10-years of industry related experience, along with 5 years of proven sales experience in plastics manufacturing with fundamental knowledge of plastic extrusion and the ability to travel.

  1. Effectively communicate in a positive and professional manner through written and verbal communications in all interfaces with customers/public, fellow employees, vendors, etc.
  2. Ability to use appropriate computer programs (including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite) which includes having proficient computer skills and the ability to adapt and learn as programs and processes change.
  3. Ability to work as a team member, exert initiative to work independently to reach a goal, and capable of managing projects in a deadline driven environment.
  4. Ability to embrace change in the workplace while encouraging others to seek innovative approaches.
  5. Ability to function effectively as a team player.
  6. Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including overtime, as needed, to best serve our business operations.
