The Operating Room Nurse will report to the Director of Surgical Services. There will also be multiple Charge Nurses, Supervisor RN’s, and CNOR’s who are able to provide assistance with any issues that arise. This Registered Nurse will have knowledge of surgical services and working in the operating room in order to individually assess, diagnose, and implement care plans for each patient. This Operating Room Nurse will attain competency and knowledge that reflects current nursing practice guidelines, rules, and regulations. Working alongside a team of experienced and engaged nurses, the Operating Room Nurse will be sure to gain lots of knowledge and support while providing optimal patient care.
