Job title: Registered Nurse, Emergency Room Nurse

Job Summary:

Our hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The Emergency Room Nurse will provide urgent medical care to patients experiencing injuries or illnesses requiring immediate attention. This position requires excellent assessment and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assess patients' conditions and prioritize care based on acuity
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the physician
• Respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Previous experience in an emergency room setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations
