About This Role
Climate Power has an immediate position open for a Managing Director, States to lead Climate Power’s state work across the country. This position will oversee all of the organization's state efforts to drive a national narrative around the importance of climate and clean energy investments, sell the benefits of climate action in key communities, and block efforts to dismantle climate progress. The Managing Director States will work with the Deputy Executive Director and the rest of the executive team to develop strategies and plans to win the politics of climate change in the states, with a focus on Arizona, Nevada, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia.

An ideal start date would be on or before August 1, 2024.
Our interview process generally involves 3 rounds of interviews, ranging in length from 30-60 minutes. All interviews will be conducted via Google Meets or Zoom. Successful candidates who move forward in the hiring process will be invited to complete a skills assessment activity (for which they will receive compensation) and undergo a vetting process, including reference and background checks, to ensure cultural and political alignment.
