The Clerk's office is seeking individuals to perform administrative work over the summer months in our Finance and Court Operations divisions.

This is an awesome opportunity for anyone looking to supplement their income this summer, including students, teachers and retirees!

Our Finance positions will perform administrative/clerical work with a focus on quality assurance, and records management functions.

Our Court Operations positions will work on a paper reduction project reviewing scanned documents against the original paper copy to ensure quality!

Examples of Essential Functions

Board Services - $17.67/hr

  • Assisting with planning and maintaining departmental records inventory.
  • Scanning and indexing records, ensuring image quality is legible.
  • Performing data entry in maintaining and updating electronic departmental records inventory.
  • Coordinating and participating in sorting, coding, inventorying, and retrieving departmental records; preparing and organizing records transfers to storage.
  • Providing administrative assistance to departmental personnel.

Records Management - $15/hr

  • Review scanned documents/images and compare against the original documents to ensure quality. Review includes looking for image quality, presence of all documents and pages within the documents, accuracy of data entries in viewing system and retaining any original documents required by statute.
  • Rescan of pages or documents as needed (missing pages/poor quality).
  • Perform basic data entry to correct any discrepancies identified in the system.
  • Report any issues found and document readiness of physical paper files for destruction.

Typical Qualifications

Board Services
High school diploma (or GED), supplemented by three (3) years of recent and relevant experience; some vocational or college courses preferred; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Records Management
High school diploma (or GED), supplemented by three (3) years of general work experience that demonstrates the ability to accurately apply acute attention to detail in maintenance of detailed data, preferably in an automated systems environment; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Once qualified, deputization may be required to perform the assigned functions. Ability to lift file boxes weighing up to 40 pounds.
