SUMMARY: Provide outstanding service to hotel guests by performing general maintenance in all areas of the hotel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: General knowledge and ability in the areas of air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, painting and general maintenance. Must operate and maintain tools and hotel equipment. Communicate with other departments regularly and notify management regarding equipment and guest satisfaction issues. Pool/spa maintenance may be assigned as well as preventative maintenance duties, snow/ice removal. Other duties will be assigned at any time. Shifts are variable but may include evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Two years’ experience in maintenance and general repairs required. Must have a working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and knowledge and experience operating tools and equipment. Must be service oriented, flexible and have the ability to communicate and cooperate with all hotel departments. Guest and employee safety are of primary concern.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to stand/walk for most of shift. Must be able to lift heavy equipment occasionally and climb stairs and ladders and occasionally work in confined areas. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Primarily indoors in a temperature controlled environment however, occasionally will be required to work in heat/cold on the roof, outdoors or in confined spaces.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
