We are currently seeking candidates with Quality Control experience in the plastics industry.

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring efficient order fulfillment, and optimizing warehouse operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory management and control processes
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of inventory records
• Monitor stock levels and replenish orders as needed
• Perform inventory counts, ensuring all items are accounted for and reported according to established policies
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory flow and minimize stockouts
• Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) to track and manage inventory
• Perform data analysis and generate reports on inventory performance
• Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues related to inventory
• Implement best practices for inventory control and warehouse operations
• Assist in the development and implementation of inventory policies and procedures

Experience:

• Previous experience in inventory control
• Cycle counting
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and logistics
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift objects and perform physical tasks as required
• Knowledge of financial modeling related to inventory management is a plus
