Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly skilled Inventory and IT Equipment Specialist to manage and oversee the storage and distribution of all IT equipment. In this role, you'll be responsible for accepting deliveries, verifying them against purchase orders, and managing assets using barcodes and Excel spreadsheets. Additionally, you'll handle equipment handover to IT Managers and Technicians, actively engaging in the order and delivery process while maintaining the inventory storage space.

Responsibilities:

• Accept deliveries, verify against purchase orders, and manage assets using barcodes and Excel spreadsheets.
• Coordinate equipment handover to IT Managers and Technicians.
• Organize and maintain the inventory storage space, including disposal of surplus equipment.
• Assist in the procurement of IT equipment and provide budget analysis and forecasting.
• Conduct system research and evaluation as needed.
• Maintain computer hardware and software systems, including technology evaluation for new programs, managing updates, and providing technical support.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues with hardware or software systems.
• Consult with users over the phone, in person, or via online chat to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Assess user needs and recommend technical solutions and enhancements.
• Document technical support procedures and maintain customer records.
• Respond promptly to queries and provide information on technical matters.
• Complete thorough installations in client environments, including data backups, system upgrades, and installation of new software or hardware solutions.

Requirements:

• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously with excellent organizational skills.
• Must be client-oriented while keeping company interests in mind.
• Ability to lift 15-20 lbs from a squatting position.
• Must pass company drug tests and comply with company drug policies.
• Normal work hours range from 8:15 am to 5 pm, five days per week.
• Occasionally, early morning, after-hours, and weekend commitments may be necessary.
• Onsite work is mandatory.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $10.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
