What You'll Do:

We're looking for an experienced HR pro who fosters community, culture and collaboration while approaching the work with integrity, humility, professionalism, and confidentiality. This is an on-site role that offers a blend of transformational and transactional HR work so it's ideal for someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves to manage day-to-day operations in a manufacturing facility but can also flex to strategically lead and develop the HR function. This role will report to the COO, support 3 shifts of 150 employees and is ideal for an experienced HR Manager looking to take their career to the next level who will:

  • Utilize your manufacturing background along with your bachelor's degree in HR or related field (HRCI or SHRM certification a plus!) and 10 years of experience to lead and develop the Human Resources function. A strong background and experience in HR may be considered in lieu of a degree. Experience with post acquisition integrations is strongly desired.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to understand the organization's long-term mission and goals and identify ways to support this mission through the development and execution of the overall people and culture strategy, structure, systems, processes, and tools.
  • Provide leadership, development, and overall management of all HR activities and staff including compensation, payroll, HRIS, benefits, talent development, training, performance management, talent acquisition, employee health and safety, employee events and communications.
  • Partner with leaders at all levels to drive the learning and development, succession planning, career development and performance management process that helps staff develop in their careers and engages all managers in assessing gaps and developing key talent.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and leadership to empower and inspire the human resource team to continue its growth.
  • Continue to cultivate our strong culture and drive engagement efforts that elevate the employee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with employment, benefits, safety, and other federal, state and local laws, regulations, and requirements.
  • Establish credibility throughout the organization to be an effective listener and problem solver of people issues by taking time to get to know our employees on a personal level.
  • Continually evaluate policies and programs to determine any gaps, and remain competitive within the industry including compensation, benefits, diversity, equity and inclusion, and career development to ensure applicants and employees of all backgrounds are welcomed, celebrated, and can thrive.
