Compensation: $60,000-65,000, based on experience.
Role Summary:
The Purchasing and Inventory Manager is a key member of the hospitality and restaurant teams and is responsible for monitoring, reporting and analyzing all inventory. The goal is to ensure that inventory assets are properly accounted for and controlled, and all business operations have adequate material to achieve their business objectives.
Responsibilities
1.Manage all inventory in support of restaurant and hotel operations. This includes creating food and beverage purchase orders, invoice batch processing, and conducting physical inventory counts.
2.Maintains up-to-date master recipe workbooks
3.Prepare vendor reports and invoice logs, and produce weekly price comparisons
4.Update and manage Oracle MICROS Simphony to ensure proper reporting
5.Become a subject matter expert in the purchasing software (COMPEAT) used by CityGate Hospitality.
6.Ensures adequate inventory levels in accordance with inventory par levels and organizational philosophy. Conducts scheduled inventory analysis to solve inventory issues. Develops and implements accurate inventory control procedures using best practices.
7.Receive inventory and cross reference purchase orders and invoices to locate discrepancies.
8.Track/record inventory movement, receiving, and reconcile to system.
9.Create and run a series of inventory reports as necessary to analyze and manage inventory.
10.Collaborate with management team to ensure business goals are met in regard to inventory.
11.Coordinate with accounting leadership to finalize monthly inventory dates, inventory count sheets, and inventory valuation and inventory analysis.
12.Follow up with accounting on any outstanding inventory issues or potentially adverse inventory issues in a timely manner to allow solutions to be vetted.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
1.College degree or equivalent background.
Experience
1.Proven experience as inventory specialist or similar position
2.Experience with restaurant/hotel inventory
Skills
1.Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
2.Working knowledge of inventory management software
3.Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
4.An analytical mind with strong math skills
5.Excellent organizational and planning skills
6.Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
7.Solid understanding of inventory management techniques and systems
8.Intermediate/Advanced skill with MS Office suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Physical Requirements
1.Ability to lift, push, and pull 25 to 50 pounds.
2.Must be able to walk, sit and stand for up to 8 hours a day, with or without reasonable accommodation.
3.Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
4.Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning/inspection tasks.
