City Staffing is Hiring a Part-Time Billing Specialist (Tues-Thurs: 24 hours per week) Near Chicago, IL
Pay: $21/hr
Long-term Temp with high possibility to extend based on workload and performance
Part-Time schedule: Tues, Weds, Thursday, 8:30 am-5:00 pm (24 Hours)
In Office: River North, Chicago
Job Responsibilities:
- Working within databases to transfer documents to third party billing vendor
- Manage worklists for patient billing, medical record requests, COB/expired insurance in billing systems
- Transcribe financial assistance decisions into billing system
- Sort, handle and track current mail procedures to reduce manual processes
- Ad hoc requests and special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and/or Google Drive
- Knowledgeable with Operating Systems (Windows, macOS)
- Proven ability to learn new skills quickly and adapt to new processes smoothly

Expected hours: 24 per week

- Monday to Friday

- Billing: 1 year (Required)
