Harmer is Hiring a Technical Support Analyst Near Chicago, IL
The Technical Support Analyst will be handling desktop and mobility troubleshooting, hardware/software installation and upgrades, and PC relocations. This individual will interface with financial industry professionals daily, and requires a high level of presentation, communication, and professionalism to succeed.
Responsibilities
Monitoring/Maintenance
- Monitor and maintain the helpdesk queue and workload
- Monitor and maintain desktops and the programs running on them
- Monitor and maintain servers and applications
Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve issues in environments while coordinating with internal resources and vendors
- Escalate and assist with third party MSP when needed
- Talk to users in-person, over the phone, or via email to provide solutions to technical problems
Education, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- 2 years of experience in a professional, fast-paced, complex technical environment (financial services preferred)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ability to provide high touch white glove service
- Microsoft Windows 10/11
- Microsoft Office 365 Office Suite
- Microsoft Exchange Online
- Microsoft Windows Server 2012-2019
- Microsoft Active Directory
