Salary Range:
$101,763 - $135,854
$3,000 HIRING BONUS- Any candidate hired as a new employee for an IT position is eligible for a one-time hiring bonus. The first half, $1,500 will be paid upon completion of initial probationary period and the remaining $1,500 upon one year of full-time city employment.

DESCRIPTION
The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading multiple technology projects throughout the city from initiation to transition to support. Major functions include managing team communications, procurements, Request for Proposals (RFP), vendor management, creating schedules and status reports, stakeholder engagement, and project budget oversight. IT Project Managers participate in the PMO through team meetings and the use of standardized processes, tools, and templates. Some projects may require the elicitation and documentation of requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Work Experience:
Requires three (3) years of experience in IT project management and / or IT business analysis which includes taking projects from the initiation phase through to completion.
Candidates must have the minimum amount of work experience. Years of experience are based upon a full-time work schedule (2,080 hours per year). The sum of an applicant’s full-time and/or part-time qualifying work experience must meet or exceed the stated minimum qualification. Education will not substitute for the required work experience; however, related unpaid and/or volunteer work experience may be used as qualifying work experience.
Education:
Requires the equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in computer science or a degree related to the core functions of this position.
The term “equivalent” means that directly related work experience exceeding the required work experience will substitute in equal time increments for college-level education, for example: one year of additional directly related work experience will substitute for one year of college education (30 credit hours).
