We are working alongside our client to assist in finding the right talent. Triad Steel is in search of an experienced Project Manager  to join their office in Tempe, Arizona . The ideal candidate has experience in steel fabrication, excellent communication, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.

The Project Manager develops, coordinates, implements, and manages all facets necessary to construct the project on time, within budget, and to the quality specified. This individual provides leadership and serves as the liaison between project team members to promote the interest of both the business and clients in all matters. They are the primary leader for the construction project.

Responsibilities

• Establish and perform job processes, including submitting pay applications, RFI’s, submittals, and negotiating change orders.
• Perform project scheduling; ensure project quality control and establish overall project logistics.
• Effective management of all internal and external communication for each assigned project.
• Diligent fiscal responsibility for all assigned projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction and steel fabrication.
• Previous experience in a project management role with the ability to run multiple jobs.
• Ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools and time to meet deadlines and achieve desired results.
• Review project specifications for understanding and clarification of scope.
• Identify submittal requirements and coordinate assembly of submittal packages.
• Create and obtain approval on Change Orders as needed.
• Understand and promote the company’s vision and values.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and integrity.
• Take initiative and seek responsibility.
• Seek continuous improvement of knowledge and abilities.
• Approach all situations with a customer service-oriented attitude.
• Sustain existing client relationships and develop new client relationships.

• Above average communication skills both written and oral.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Required Talents:

• Ability to work well within a team structure or independently.

Preferred Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of construction industry experience.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
