About the Position
This position performs skilled work in the maintenance of an airport facility. In addition, this position inspects airport facility conditions to ensure safe, efficient airport operations and that maintenance, emergency and security functions are compatible with local, state and federal regulations.

- Work performed in various maintenance settings and field situations.
- Seldom sedentary and includes walking or moving. Work sometimes involves climbing ladders and working at heights greater than 10 feet, bending and stooping repeatedly, lifting arms above head, and moderate muscular exertion and lifting.
- Regular exposure to dust, pollen, noise, inclement weather, temperature extremes and unpleasant odors.
- Operate and use carpentry, masonry, construction, maintenance tools, a variety of medium to heavy equipment, including concrete mixer, concrete saw, concrete grinder, chop saws, skip loaders, and other types of concrete finishing tools.
- Move and carry materials weighing over 50 pounds, may need to move and carry materials up to 66 pounds with assistance.
- Work alternate schedule that will include holidays, weekends, evenings, overnights and mandatory overtime on regular scheduled assigned times throughout the year.
