What you’ll be doing:

• Thriving in the challenges you are faced with daily, from troubleshooting and identifying problems, to repairing furniture and minor plumbing problems and electrical difficulties including wall switches, interior/exterior lighting, cover plates, receptacles, loose wiring, resident call systems, control devices, laundry and kitchen equipment. • Creating an exceptional first impression of the community by ensuring the interior, exterior and all common areas sparkle and WOW our guests and residents. This means painting, landscaping and removing trash. OWN IT|DON’T SETTLE|BE YOU
• Maintaining and repairing pools/spas and equipment to ensure full operation and compliance with all governing regulations. OWN IT|DON’T SETTLE
• Preparing vacant apartments, replacing window treatments, painting/caulking, shampooing carpets and other electrical, plumbing and carpentry as needed. This is your opportunity to make it better than it was before! OWN IT|DON’T SETTLE|BE BRAVE
• Ensuring the highest safety standards by maintaining an attractive work environment free of hazardous objects. Reporting any health, safety and /or sanitation concerns to your manager; including reporting any apartment repairs or conditions that need attention by other departments. Requirements

Your background:

• Exceptional maintenance service (think “white glove”) experience within hospitality, multi-family, senior living and/or related industry preferred. You excel in an environment where you have variety in your day to day activities. You have experience operating housekeeping and other service equipment.
• Technical/mechanical certifications and/or a Highschool Diploma preferred.
• Experience interacting with guests/residents, co-workers and the general public in a courteous and professional manner.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action and to remain calm during emergency situations.
• Reasoning skills that include the ability to understand issues and process information for giving and receiving feedback and instructions. Proficiency communicating in English.
• Proficiency with the use of computers, mobile devices (e.g., tablets, iPads), AV equipment/technology, and other office equipment (e.g., phones, scanners, copiers, fax machines, etc.) as well as possess familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
