City of Milwaukie is Hiring a Police Records Supervisor Near Milwaukie, OR

The Milwaukie Police Department is hiring its next Police Records Supervisor. This is a great opportunity to lead a small team of Police Records Specialists in support of an innovative and community-focused police agency. In this role, you will experience great opportunities to network with other law enforcement agencies, the District Attorney’s Office and their records department.
 
Our records team serves as a key contributor to the public safety with significant impact on police operations and investigations. The Police Records Supervisor coordinates the department’s LEDS and CJIS activities and supervises staff through training, guidance, and accountability.
Initial interviews are planned for the week of May 22.

  • Work closely with police officers and District Attorney’s Office
  • Supervise and work in a small team environment
  • Oversee the organization of police reports, citations and public records release
  • Ensure security and confidentiality of sensitive private records as the department’s LEDS/CJIS Coordinator

Required Education, Training and Experience

(Any combination of education and experience that has provided the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential duties of this position. Prior work experience and educational requirements listed are typical ways of obtaining the required qualifications. Other equivalent combinations of education, training and experience will be considered.)

  • High School diploma or equivalent; AND
  • Five years of police records or records management experience or related field with at least one year of experience in a supervisory or lead role; OR
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation: 
The salary range for this overtime-exempt non-represented position is $6,111 - 7,796 per month. The starting pay assignment, based on an analysis of the successful candidate's related experience and education as documented on the employment application in accordance with the city's pay equity policy and the Oregon Equal Pay Act, would be no higher than $7,424 per month.
