Position: Sr. Office Assistant

Department: PARCS/ LPAC Foundation

Classification: Temporary

Salary Range: $26.52 - $30.70 Hourly

Non - Exempt – Overtime Eligible

**Position to be filled pending Council approval**

Summary:

Under general supervision, provide administrative support for the Lancaster Performing Arts Center

Foundation’s (LPACF) Board of Directors.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Example of Duties & Responsibilities:

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Prepare meeting materials, including financial reports, agendas and meeting minutes.

• Manage various LPACF donor and service programs.

• Manage LPACF website and social media accounts.

• Prepare content for various publications, press releases, event speaking points, messaging, etc.

• Coordinate all aspects of fundraising events, including concept proposals, caterers, entertainment,

sponsors, vendors, décor, timelines, marketing, sales, auctions, etc.

• Manage various policies, registrations, reconciliations, financial reports, tax submissions, etc.

• Perform general office duties and errands.

• Handle incoming calls and other communications.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Understand and follow written and oral instructions.

• Strong communication and writing skills.

• Deal tactfully and effectively with staff, participants, and the public.

• Time management.

• Professional representation.

• Ability to establish collaborative relationships with LPACF Board of Directors, community partners and

donors.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, social media platforms, and email marketing; web

design/maintenance is preferred, but not required.

Education and Experience:

• Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and

abilities necessary for acceptable job performance.

• Currently enrolled in a college or university majoring in Business or a related field is desirable
