The City of Boston Office of Youth Engagement & Advancement is seeking a proactive Communications & Outreach Manager to be responsible for supporting the management and coordination of the day-to-day outreach, civic engagement and communications functions of the office. This role will oversee the coordination and implementation of OYEA communication strategies, events, and marketing as well as oversight of civic engagement and connecting youth to programs and services, such as the Mayors Youth Council, YLC, MBTA Youth Pass, etc. and support with strategic communications.Reporting directly to the Executive Director of the Office, this position is designed for a professional who brings experience with connecting residents and constituents to services throughout a variety of media, and also holds the ability to engage with outside stakeholders, local organizations, youth serving networks, and other collaborators. The Manager must be a motivated individual with strong communication, and organization skills and a passion for working in an inclusive environment, experience working in a fast-paced environment, and a desire to work on initiatives and issues affecting youth and young adults, to accomplish the goal of the department.
