Serves as point of contact for applications for federal and local home rehabilitation, new single-family home construction, down payment and rental deposit assistance programs managed by the HAND Department. Serves as a point of contact for those seeking housing navigation services. Initializes intake and response of applications, helping determining eligibility for various programs and identifying beginning steps to evaluate whether a program is funded. Assists in managing process to begin non-financial HUD reporting requirements (primarily Annual Action Plan and CAPER Report), as well as assisting in the completion of Part 58 Environmental Reviews required by NEPA. Included duties are research and data collection, correspondence and project management. Assists in updating program Standard Operating Procedures, guidelines and application materials for departmental programs. Also assists Program Management team in monitoring processes for grant sub-recipients. Assists in monitoring affordable and workforce housing, both local and federal. Participates in department-wide Neighborhood Clean-Up days. Assists on special projects and request as needed.Provides general operational support to all departmental staff in assisting with technological and general office needs.Takes all reasonable steps to maintain a safe work environment.
