- License to practice nursing in the State of Michigan.
- BLS certification required within one year. Certification must be issued directly by the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or Canadian equivalent.
- ACLS certified within one year if working Cardiac Cath Lab, CVU, ICU, Emergency Dept., Nursing Resource Pool, Ambulatory Surgery or Surgical Services. Certifications (BLS, ACLS, ALS, PALS) must be issued directly by the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or Canadian equivalent.
- PALS certification within one year when working in Pediatrics or the Emergency Room. PALS certifications must be issued directly by the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or Canadian equivalent.
