Christy Industrial Holdings is Hiring a Business Development Manager, Ceramic Fiber [Christy Refractories] Near St. Louis, MO

POSITION SUMMARY

This position will drive the rapid expansion of ceramic fiber in the US market. You will play a crucial role in driving company growth by generating new leads, fostering strategic partnerships, and developing win-win relationships. This will be accomplished through individual effort and development as well as lifting the existing sales force up through training, support, and guidance. This position is eligible to work from home and will be based out of our St. Louis, MO office. It will report to the CRC / CIS President.

POSITION DETAILS

  • Business development including new customers, pipeline management, account development, and retention.
  • Become a resource for the team on ceramic fiber, applications, and markets.
  • Generate and maintain a robust prospect list for all sales territories.
  • Work with and coach existing Business development resources on fiber growth in their territories.
  • Within 6 months, the team will be on pace for an annual $1,750k revenue growth rate at comparable or better margins.

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to identify and nurture leads, prioritizing a top 10 list and maintaining a healthy sales funnel.
  2. Develop and maintain nationwide targets and opportunities.

Sales Pipeline Management:

  1. Continuously identify new prospects, assess their conversion potential, connect with decision-makers, and move them through the sales cycle efficiently.
  2. Strategize with other business development resources to for them to develop and pursue opportunities in their territories.

Sales Execution: Follow the established sales process to uncover client needs, present solutions, handle objections, and close deals efficiently.

Customer Relationship Management: Communicate effectively with prospects and existing customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products/services.

Stewardship:

  1. Follow all required safety guidelines as outlined by Christy.
  2. Protect company assets and confidential information following company policies and procedures. Including, but not limited to, clients, team members and proprietary company

Completion of quarterly accountabilities and special projects as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Minimum of 5 years of Business Development Experience in Ceramic Fiber Products

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

This Job operates in a professional office environment as well as outside in all types of weather including, but not limited to, hot and cold, rain, ice, and snow. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, copier, phone, filing cabinets, and fax machine.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position with hours of work typically Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 40 -45 hours per week, with an occasional night or weekend as business needs dictate. Availability for customer needs outside business hours is essential.
