CHR is Hiring a Customer Service Rep- PT Near York, PA

Summary/Objective

The Customer Service Representative serves as the primary contact for external customers. Work directly with customer to quickly solve problems to the customer’s satisfaction and educate customers about product offerings and company services.

Responsibilities

  • Place orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Identify root causes within the order cycle and resolve quickly and effectively.
  • Answer all customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process orders received by fax and through direct calling (incoming/outgoing).
  • Process adjustments to orders based on customer instructions or external factors (such as weather).
  • Process projected or standing orders according to customer guidelines.
  • Generate and distribute order documentation to appropriate departments.
  • File invoices routinely.
  • Fill in for other customer service personnel as needed.
  • Resolve unexpected customer problems using a team-based approach.
  • Maintain high quality standards in customer interactions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve Customer Service processes, procedures, and practices.
  • Distribute call assignments to other Customer Service Representatives daily.
  • Print, check off, and distribute pickers to 1st shift Warehouse personnel on a timely basis, meeting deadlines throughout the day.
  • Print, check off, organize, and distribute pickers for 2nd and 3rd shift Warehouse personnel.
  • Print, check off, and organize daily invoices and distribute to appropriate driver’s drawers.
  • Update loads in a timely manner and generate production summaries for production personnel within specific deadlines.
  • Participate in Holiday rotation.
  • Assist in Accounts Receivable as needed.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Prior customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience with a 10 key calculator preferred.
