CHLOETA is Hiring a HR Generalist II Near Oklahoma, OK

The HR Generalist II will ensure adherence of all employees to company policies and procedures. The HR Generalist will directly support the Program and Project Manager, at the Program level, with administering orientation and onboarding of new hires, training employees on policies & procedures and providing support for candidates and all employees at program level. This will be conducted in close coordination with the HR Group.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • May assist with constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • May assist supervisors with disciplinary actions of existing employees.

Job Classification: Full-Time Employee

Compensation:

  • $53,300-$59,800 per year
  • Exempt
  • Chloeta reserves the right to offer any candidate above or below the listed compensation amount based on experience or business needs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Create and send offer letters
  • Work with supervisors on annual reviews
  • Manage leave requests
  • Work with recruiters to create position descriptions
  • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Conduct or acquire background checks, employee eligibility verifications, drug screens, and credit checks.
  • Assist in recruiting
  • Manage DOT and driver license expirations
  • Review and track mandatory and non-mandatory training
  • Work with employees for personal growth and continuing education
  • Work with field managers for annual safety training, anti-harassment training
  • Manage certifications
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including compensation, disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
  • Attend and documents disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS, Paycom, and talent management systems.

Education and Experience:

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field required.
  • Required: At least one to two years of human resource management experience
  • Preferred: At least three (3) years of human resource management experience is preferred.
  • Preferred: SHRM-CP

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Pre-employment Requirements

Due to the nature of Chloeta’s services, this position is contingent upon completing with a satisfactory outcome some or all of the following pre-employment background screenings: government security clearance, federal and state criminal background checks, drug test (urinalysis), Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review, educational history, employment history, and/or credit check. In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), pre-employment background screenings will require the employee’s written authorization and will occur after acceptance of an offer of employment and prior to commencing work. Additionally, employees are required to complete the federal I-9/E-Verify process.

Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy

Employees may be subject to undergoing additional drug screens and/or alcohol testing at any time during the period of employment, including without prior notice.
