CHLOETA is Hiring an Accounting / Financial Analyst Near Oklahoma, OK

Job Summary

The Accounting / Financial Analyst reports directly to the Project or Program Manager within the Project Management Organization (PMO) and provides analytical support for the preparation of project and program budgets and forecasts, preforms project project-level financial management reporting and analysis, assesses financial risks, and recommend appropriate actions. They also initiate subcontract and inter-vertical purchase requests, monitor vendor expenses, and review and approve subcontract invoices. They compile financial performance metrics at the end of period of performance (PoP), provide status of key performance metrics, and prepare detailed financial program management reviews. They prepare and respond to contract and program financial data calls.

Duty Station: Chloeta Headquarters, Oklahoma City

Compensation:

  • FLSA Exempt
  • $60,000-$70,000 per year
  • Chloeta reserves the right to offer any candidate above or below the listed compensation amount based on experience or business needs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, monitor, and update project/program requirements and spend plans.
  • Maintain budget tracks at the program and project level.
  • Support the formulation and review of budget estimates and requirements for new and existing initiatives.
  • Collect resource information and compare it with historical data to develop or update current and future budget deliverables internally.
  • Collaborate within the program to ensure the integrity of program data is used for data analysis.
  • Use and maintain corporate resource information repositories, databases, decision support tools, strategies, processes, procedures, and reports to ensure accurate financial reporting and management oversight in support of project/program initiatives.
  • Monitor the commitment, obligation and expenditure of funds throughout the life cycle of the project and ensure compliance with administrative ceilings and prudent budgeted costs.
  • Assist in assessing the impact of staffing changes on project/program cost/schedule baselines.
  • Gather, research, and analyze resource information to support leadership discussions, thinking, and decisions on programmatic resource planning and allocations.
  • Provide input in the preparation of budget summaries, charts, memoranda, issue papers and talking points for management.
  • Use quantitative analyses techniques to preform trend analysis of contractor provided cost data.
  • Experience with financial modeling, including funding analyses and cost and revenue projections.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be able to function and contribute as a member of a high performing team in a matrix management environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial accounting systems.
  • Must have the ability to independently compose and present comprehensive financial reports.
  • Possession of excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in accounting, or closely related business field
  • Required: Five (5) to Seven (7) years of accounting experience
  • Preferred: Experience with project level budgets
  • Preferred: MBA or related advanced degree in business

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds on occasion.
  • This job operates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, etc.
