Chipton-Ross is seeking a Ground Systems Electrical Technician for a contract opportunity in Layton, UT.

This position is 100% ONSITE.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Provides technical support for maintenance, repair, overhaul and preventive measures that ensure continued safe and economic operations for customers.

Applies technical knowledge to research, develop, test and evaluate operations, support programs, modifications, repairs and technical data.

Communicates design and operational issues and concerns with Engineering. Develops in-service correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment.

Participates in disabled product on-site surveys to assess extent of damage. Recommends changes to existing test procedures, supports execution of test procedures and coordinates resolution of test anomalies to return products to operational status.

Install and connect electronic hardware, run acceptance test procedures, troubleshoot as needed

The selected candidate will serve as a Ground Systems Electrical Technician supporting the hardware and software installation, integration, and testing effort for the Launch Support System in Layton, UT, or the deployed sites in Ft. Greely, AK and VSFB, CA.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

Ability to climb stairs and work within a confined space.

EDUCATION :

Accredited Education / experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.

g. Bachelor 1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).

FULL TIME / FIRST SHIFT

WORK HOURS : 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM
