Chick-fil-A Bear Valley Rd. & Mariposa is Hiring a Human Resource Coordinator Near Victorville, CA

The Human Resource Coordinator will be responsible for all tasks and systems which ensure that Chick-fil-A Victorville is an organization where team members love to come to work. Areas of focus include but are not limited to staffing, compliance, culture, performance management, and risk management. Having a growth mindset is essential to succeed in this role to stay ahead of organizational growth and change. This position reports directly to the Executive Director of Operations.

HR Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Represent Chick-fil-A’s incredible culture of care and professionalism to all team members, vendors, stakeholders, and guests and work to build long-term relationships
  • Create and maintain alignment between the vision of the Owner/Operator and the organization
  • Superior knowledge of the organization’s mission, values, strategy, and operations; and having the ability to tie daily work into the big picture
  • Establish and maintain an online, digital, and social employer brand to be leveraged in our recruiting efforts
  • Manage online hiring platform: recruit, conduct interviews, hire, onboard
  • Establish and maintain organizational systems so that the business is run professionally
  • Lead payroll process including time punch audits and scheduling goal accountability
  • Influence, guide, and coach operational leaders responsibilities to care for and develop the team to grow in and beyond the organization
  • Lead restaurant accountability efforts with the goal of creating a positive workplace culture where clarity of expectation is known and enforced
  • Provide all employees with meal and rest periods as required per CA Law and ensure that all leaders and team members are properly trained on their responsibilities to comply with a legal and caring break system
  • Lead offboarding/terminations to care for the employee and protect the business
  • Support the Owner/Operator with administrative, organizational, and accountability functions directly and by leading the Administrative Assistant


REQUIREMENTS

  • Availability (>40 hrs/wk, 5 days/wk F/Sa)
  • Proficient in Google Suite
  • Experience as an HR Coordinator
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (not required, but recommended)
  • HRCI or SHRM Certified
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Detailed oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Flexibility, able to adjust to changes and address problems effectively
  • Good written communication skills
