POSITION SUMMARY:

The Vice President of Sales & Marketing is responsible for leadership and driving strategy and growth across the company’s Sales and Marketing functions. This role is critical in developing and implementing strategic initiatives as well as monitoring the team performance to ensure goals and metrics are met and/or exceeded.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

• Promote company products and services
• Communicates sales, marketing, and product information to New Home Consultants
• Manage sales teams and conduct sales meetings
• Responsible for recruiting and retaining top talent (sales, marketing & sales trainee)
• Take charge of staff training and development needs, and performance
• Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve workplace goals
• Monitor market and competitor activity to secure market share positioning
• Track market and community specific trends to maximize margins
• Improve customer satisfaction by anticipating consumer needs
• Assist in problem solving of any sales and closing issues within all parties involved
• Identify where improvements can be made and develop success-driven plans
• Manage detailed sales expectations and plan accordingly
• Work closely with the marketing department to help facilitate the execution of realtor outreach programs, corporate branding, grand opening of new communities, special financing promotions, and company events.

- Responsible for maintenance and merchandise of sales office/model home- working closely with the decorators overseeing styling of home

• Monitor customer activity
• Create and prepare sales reports monthly, quarterly, and yearly and continually monitor sales activity
• Communicate effectively with Developer & Builder partners to maintain Chesmar’s solid reputation
• Communicate and foster relationships with clients, Realtors and other Real Estate professionals

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Proficient with standard software such as Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Maintain proper and professional etiquette and appearance.
• Exemplary customer service skills
• Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly in fast-paced high work volume
• Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and producers
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all employees
• Flexibility to help assist with new task and office change
• Capacity to prioritize and delegate tasks

- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi- task and prioritize work

• Must have a valid driver’s license and successfully pass a background check

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent degree
• 5 years of relevant and proven experience in New Home Sales/ commission real estate sales
