Chesapeake Mission Critical is Hiring a Sales Engineer Near Washington, DC

Chesapeake Mission Critical is looking for a detail oriented Sales Engineer to join our fast-paced, energetic organization. The ideal candidate will have 3 plus years' experience in technical sales, excellent customer service and follow-up skills.

If you love cutting technology and the ability to solve customer problems, then this might be the role for you.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Selling Products and Services we represent
  • Managing Customer relationships and supporting the implementation of CMC Products and Services
  • Project Management of equipment installations and turnkey projects
  • Designing critical infrastructure solutions for our customers including engineers, contractors, and owners (government, co-location, healthcare, financial).
  • Following up on proposals and closing deals
  • Interfacing with vendors and manufacturers to price and select solutions
  • Participating fully in training sessions, meetings, and technical product classes

Skills and Specifications

  • Able to work in fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Highly energetic and self-starter
  • Should be honest, assertive, and systematic
  • Highly proficient level computer skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint,

Excel and Outlook

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor of Science Degree, Engineering (a plus)
  • 3-5 years working in Technical Sales or Engineering
