Financial Analyst II
This position requires an active Secret clearance.
A Financial Analyst II assists in financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting, supporting senior analysts and managers in making strategic financial decisions within the organization.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Estimated Starting Salary Range for Financial Analyst II: Pay commensurate with experience.
- Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided.
- Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Financial Analyst II Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting.
- Preparing financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for management review.
- Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Evaluating investment opportunities and conducting ROI analysis.
- Providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to optimize business performance.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and support business initiatives.
- Adhering to financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of process improvements within the finance department.
- Supporting senior financial analysts and managers in various financial activities.
- Assisting with ad hoc financial projects and tasks as needed.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Financial Analyst II Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees such as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a Master's degree in finance may be preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, financial planning, or related roles.
- Experience in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Familiarity with financial reporting standards and regulations.
- Experience in using financial analysis tools and software, such as Excel, financial modeling software, and ERP systems.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting financial information to stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in financial analysis techniques, including financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent quantitative and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and derive actionable insights.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
- Ability to work with large datasets and perform quantitative analysis.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
