PAY
The pay for this position is $15.75 an hour for 1st shift and $15.75 plus an additional $.50 shift differential for 2nd shift.

SHIFT
1st shift (6:00am - 2:30pm ~ hours will vary)
2nd shift (2:30pm-11:00pm ~ hours will vary)

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for packaging product into trays, sleeves, and boxes, monitoring application of labels, and recording finished product counts. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure all package markings are correct and printer operates correctly
• Record product counts and pallet ID
• Maintain accurate processing records, including check weights on finished boxes
• Maintain cleanliness of work area
• Follow all plant safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices

Required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Work in varied temperature environments (0-50 deg.) COLD ENVIRONMENT
• Good hand/eye coordination
• Heavy lifting required, some over 50lbs unassisted
• Continuous movement, and must be able to stand for long periods of time

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to add and subtract
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules
• Must be able to follow instructions and communicate clearly with coworkers
• Visual, auditory, and hand dexterity

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Food processing/handling experience preferred
