PAY
This position pays $17.25 an hour plus an additional $.50 shift differential.

SHIFT
2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm ~ hours will vary)

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for preparing ingredients for batch runs based on daily production schedule. Ensure accurate weights and measures for formula, and record usage for relieving of raw materials. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up for production, and open and weigh materials for formulas
• Ensure accuracy of scales used for batch preparation
• Perform routine quality checks, including inspecting all raw materials in preparation for production
• Maintain accurate relieving documentation of raw materials
• Maintain cleanliness of work area
• Follow all plant safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices

Required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Able to work in varied temperature environments (0-50 deg.)- COLD TEMPS
• Good hand/eye coordination
• Heavy lifting required, up to 50lbs unassisted
• Continuous movement, and must be able to stand for long periods of time

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must meet expectations on Safety, Attendance, Teamwork, Quality, and Productivity metrics
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Must be able to follow instructions and communicate clearly with coworkers
• Visual, auditory, and hand dexterity
• Full body mobility
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Adequate reading/language, writing, and math skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Food processing/handling experience preferred

Pay: $17.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 65 per week
