CentroMotion is Hiring an IT Business Analyst Near Waukesha, WI

Description

 The IT Business Analyst will be reporting to the IT Project Manager, this role will work with the IT team and business users to identify, define, test and implement new or improved business system solutions. This position will focus on IT Project Requests and assignments on larger project initiatives. This is a hands-on position where strong expertise and aptitude in defining requirements in an easily, understood method using flows and short, concise Project abstracts. This role will be responsible for working with IT team to identify key test cases, perform initial test and work with users during user acceptance testing. This role may also be responsible for managing milestones for smaller initiatives. 

Responsibilities 

  • Work with business management and users to solve problems and translate into business requirements and work with users to identify key user stories to be used for User Acceptance testing.
  • Document and analyze current state business processes and underlying systems and applications and determine future state with IT/Business team.
  • Conduct meetings with stakeholders to gather user requirements and test scenarios.
  • Produce timely and high-quality work products, including process flows and mock-ups.
  • Plan and execute System/Functional with technical team and User Acceptance testing with business partners.
  • Act as a key liaison between the business user community and IT staff both on a regional and global basis.
  • Work in a functional business analyst role on special projects when needed to provide continuity between new businesses and existing ones on the global instance.
  • Act as a project lead on smaller initiatives and assist IT Project Manager in keeping Monday.com project boards up-to-date.
  • As needed, interface with outside resources to accomplish tasks and initiatives including working with third party-vendors.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT/technical field or Business Administration is required.

Experience:

  •  10 years of experience as a Business Analyst. Experience working within Agile methodology.
  • A minimum of 10 years of functional business analysis and testing experience
  • Must have actively participated on several implementation projects
  • Experience managing smaller projects is recommended
  • Application experience in supply chain, manufacturing and/or logistics is highly recommended
  • Demonstrated aptitude to effectively communicate and constructively engage with all organizational levels, including ability to build consensus and drive decision making.
  • Must be able to effectively manage multiple initiatives and deadlines and deliver high quality results using best-practice methods.
  • Use of soft skills and initiative to accomplish tasks that shows ownership and resolve in getting things done.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills and experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Nice to have – experience with Monday.com

Technology/Equipment: Knowledge of ERP systems. Strong skills with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Visio).
