Job Summary:

• Provides physical therapy services to patients ranging in age to prevent, alleviate or correct physical disability, bodily dysfunction, or pain. 
• Responsible for treating inpatients and outpatients. 
• Therapist Assistants are responsible for providing patient treatments/services according to a plan of care established by a Physical Therapist (PT). 
• Serves patients of all age groups. 

Schedule:

• Per Diem
• 0-16 hours every two weeks
• 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. every 3rd weekend, Saturday and Sunday

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant academic program and successful completion of required clinical training by the academic facility required.
• Licensed through the MN Board of Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist Assistant required or a current temporary permit required with a Physical Therapist Assistant license required within 90 days of exam.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
• No prior professional experience required.
• Prior field work experience must provide clear evidence of clinical skills consistent with basic entry level positions.
