Our Surgical Technologists are there to prepare for a patient’s arrival and stay in the operating room to ensure their best possible outcome. You’ll prepare operating rooms for a wide range of surgeries and procedures and inventory surgical materials and tools to assure patient safety all while working closely with physicians, CRNA’s, registered nurses, and other surgical personnel in delivering quality patient care.

Current Opening:

• Part-time
• 46-54 hours every two weeks
• Mainly Monday-Friday day shift mix of 8- 9- and 10-hour days between 6 a.m.-6p.m.
• Occasional evening and weekend call, approximately 1 time per week and every 6th-8th weekend, rotating holidays.
• All positions will require you to be on call multiple days each month and will be required to get to the St. Cloud Hospital within 35 minutes. Amount of call varies by team. We do have call rooms available at the hospital to use if you choose.

Current Offerings:

• Student Loan repayment of up to $10,000 or Hiring Bonus up to $5,000.

• Pay rates based on years of experience (pay range: $29.60-$41.99/hour)

Our Teams:

Within our Surgery department you will work on one of six specialized teams. This position will have general orientation to Urology, GYN, Ortho, General, Plastics, Neuro, ENT, Dental, Maxillofacial, and Vascular. Specific team to be determined during orientation period.

• Team 1: Urology, GYN, Ophthalmology
• Team 2: Orthopedics, Podiatry
• Team 3: General, Bariatric, Plastics, Trauma
• Team 4: Neurosurgery, ENT, Dental, Pain
• Team 5: Cardiac, Vascular
• Team 6: Endovascular

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required (can be obtained upon hire)
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
