Join this award-winning team at the St Cloud Hospital Surgical Care Unit. This team was recognized for receiving the PRISM award that celebrates medical-surgical units that sustain excellence. This is the first unit in Minnesota to receive this nationally recognized award, TWICE!

In this role, you’ll work on a team led by a Registered Nurse, where you’ll participate in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for our patients, providing them a high standard of care within all guidelines, policies and regulations. 

To succeed, you’ll need to work well independently and with others, and have the desire and ability to communicate well with coworkers, patients and their families. You should be able to assess and solve problems, switch gears swiftly and be able to adapt to handle multiple tasks in a short period of time.

Set weekend rotation allows you to self-schedule your weekday shifts

Rotating shifts

• Full-Time 64 hours every two weeks, 7am-3:30pm/11pm-7:30am, every other weekend
• Full-time 60-72 hours every two weeks, 7am-7:30pm/7pm-7:30am, every 3rd weekend
• Part-time 32-40 hours every two weeks, 7am-3:30pm/11pm-7:30am, evey other weekend
• Part-time 32-40 hours every two weeks, 7am-3:30pm/3pm-11:30pm, every other weekend
• Part-time 32-40 hours every two weeks, 3pm-11:30pm, every other weekend

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program
• Current Minnesota LPN License 
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Sign-on bonus requirements: To be eligible for the sign-on bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous CentraCare/Carris employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.

Relocation assistance requirements: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from St. Cloud Hospital and relocate to within 30 miles of it.
