Job Summary:
The staff Interventional Radiology Technologist functions as a healthcare provider, who, working under the delegated authority of the supervising physician, serves as a medical imaging professional assisting the physician with diagnosis and treatment of patients. The role and responsibilities include directly assisting physicians during sterile procedures; acquiring, correctly labeling images and sending them to PACS; retrieving images from PACS; documenting appropriately in the EMR; utilizing highly technical fluoroscopic equipment; entering orders for procedures and charging supplies.
Schedule:

• Full-time
• 68-72 hours every two weeks
• Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
• Call 1-2 nights per week, 2 out of 7-8 weekends, and 2 holidays per year

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree Graduate from an accredited educational program that is acceptable to American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider card prior to completion of unit orientation
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification among employment
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Vascular Interventional certification within 3 years preferred

Preferred qualifications:

• Graduate of training program in vascular imaging
• 1 year of experience in vascular imaging lab of comparable size and patient volume as Saint Cloud Hospital
• 1 year of experience diagnostic imaging

To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
