CentraCare is Hiring a Lab Assistant | Rice Memorial Hospital Near Willmar, MN
64-72 hours every 2 weeks | Monday-Friday | Day shift.
Serving the pathology department for general support functions such as processing send out testing, consults with pathologists and clinicians to ensure proper ordering processes are followed, access the EMR for collecting patient information for pathology results and reports, communicating with clients, providers, and others by handling incoming phone calls, maintains histology and cytology files of specimens, blocks, slides and data. Assists with student education and new employee orientation as needed. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate.
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED
