Full-time, 64 hours every two weeks, various day shifts, evenings and weekends

JOB SUMMARY:
Operates magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's Degree as Radiology Technologist Associate Degree AS degree in radiology

EXPERIENCE:

• 2 years work related skill or experience
• willing to educate new graduates

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

• MRI certification preferred
• Must complete ongoing continuing education necessary to maintain ARRT certification

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to deal with continual emergent demands
• Highly developed organizational and time management skills
• Ability to deal with people in a tactful and courteous manner
• Well-developed written and oral communication skills
• Ability to develop workable imaging procedures
• Imaging Equipment 
• Computer systems including a computerized radiology program
• Attend departmental meetings to maintain expected performance standards
• Possess a high level of knowledge of cross sectional anatomy
• Knowledgeable in medical terminology
• Proficient in English language including composition and grammar.
